We are a discussion group that has discussed a wide variety of topics. We also get together for social gatherings, "field trips," barbecues during the warm weather, game nights, and more. Our social activities give us a chance to have some fun and cultivate friendships.
We participate with other groups and organizations and collaborate on many events.
Our group events are posted on our group's Facebook page, this website, and additional information provided through email. We try to include related community activities whenever possible.
The Gay Men's Discussion Group of the Hudson Valley is a group of gay and bisexual men and those who identify as male who meet weekly at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center in Kingston, NY.
The group meets every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm from September through June. We do not meet on Holidays.
Jeff Baltes and Gene
Knapp facilitate the
discussions and keep
informed of topics
and events through
and this website.
The group is comprised of men of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Though not every topic will have universal appeal, we attempt to cover various interest areas.
We are not a therapy group, 12 step group, or a self-help group; however, our discussions have proven to be of great help to several of our members
We ask that all men provide their own transportation to and from the meetings.
